The Ministry of Public Works and Planning subsidize the rehabilitation of four facades located within the historic environment Aledo, declared of Cultural Interest, thanks to a grant from the Directorate General of Land and Housing of 138,628 euros.
Framed within the program 'Recover' regional government, this action aims at the recovery of values, meaning and character of those properties likely to be protected and preserved in several villages in the Region of Murcia.
In particular, will speak on the facades, roofs and medians of four buildings located in San Ramon and Covadonga Street to retrieve their essential characteristics, to rehabilitate or replace the items over the years have deteriorated, altering the identity original project.
This popular construction of buildings, like the rest of the historic environment, in which will subsidize 75 percent of the costs of the action, whose works will start in 2010.
In the case of No. 1 San Ramon Street highlights its strategic position in the urban fabric, attached to the medieval wall, at number 4 on the same street the architectural uniqueness stems from its location on the edge of the cliff, with a view leading from the access road, while the numbers 7 and 9 from the street Covadonga has assessed the state of the building in one of the most emblematic streets of the town.
