After legal proceedings have resulted in the arrest of the mayor of Aledo, Simon Alcaraz, the Popular Party Murcia Region reiterates its utmost respect for justice and cooperation with all legal and principles enshrined in the Spanish Constitution .

The Popular Party is confident that the courts act as expeditiously as possible in order to ascertain the facts are investigated and the results of the actions carried out.

It emphasizes the cooperation provided by the Regional Government to the Security Forces of the State to make a success of their research.

Finally, the PP is reaffirmed in respect to the basic principle of presumption of innocence that reflects our Constitution.
